Most of the music in Pentecostal churches have gone the way of the world thus grieving the sweet Spirit of God. Within the Conservative Holiness Movement we have maintained a better, more consistant stand regarding music with our insistance that it be godly, melodious and Christ honoring.

The pleasant Camp Meeting or Convention style of these songs that I have posted aren't around much anymore, not even at the church where these are being sung. They have opted for the dissonant contemporary sounds and the rock n' roll rythms that feed the flesh and starve the spirit. The very type of worldly music which we've all preached against is the very kind upon which most churches now intoxicate themselves.

That being said, I was pleased to find and post these Gospel songs. I have enjoyed them, I hope you will do the same.

As Holiness (Wesleyan) people we too sing with all our might. Our worship style may be more conservative than that of the Pentecostals, but it is just as hearty and robust.
